NVFlare — framework for training AI models across hospitals without sharing patient data
Found and fixed a bug that was silently producing worse AI models during training. The error went unnoticed because the system ran without crashing, but the results were degraded on every run.
Improved the efficiency of the federated learning examples by caching AI models and datasets between training rounds instead of reloading them each time.
Fixed a bug where simulation mode always ran one training epoch regardless of configuration, causing simulated devices to behave differently from real devices when multiple epochs were configured.
Fixed a stack overflow crash in the Android SDK that occurred during federated training when the device had to retry fetching work from the server many times in a row.

Added a color palette designed for colorblind users, so that charts and graphs are readable by people with color vision deficiency.
Added an accessible line style option that automatically assigns distinct dash patterns (solid, dash, dot, etc.) to each series, so overlapping lines remain distinguishable without relying on color alone.
Fixed a layout issue in the admin interface where data tables had inconsistent column sizing, making them harder to read.
